How to Use Tattoo Balm
What You’ll Need:
- Tattoo balm
- Clean hands
- A freshly washed and dried tattoo
Step-by-Step Instructions:
- Clean Your Tattoo – Gently wash your tattoo with mild, fragrance-free soap and lukewarm water. Pat dry with a clean towel.
- Apply a Small Amount – Using clean hands, take a pea-sized amount of tattoo balm and gently rub it between your fingers to soften.
- Massage Into the Tattoo – Apply a thin, even layer over the tattooed area, ensuring complete coverage without overloading the skin.
- Let It Absorb – Allow the balm to soak in before covering the area with clothing to avoid smudging.
- Reapply as Needed – Use 2–3 times daily, especially in the first few weeks of healing, or as directed by your tattoo artist.
Warnings & Precautions:
⚠️ For External Use Only – Do not ingest.
⚠️ Avoid Overapplication – Too much balm can suffocate the skin and delay healing.
⚠️ Do Not Use on Open Wounds – Only apply once the tattoo has started healing and is no longer an open wound.
⚠️ Check for Allergies – Perform a patch test before full use if you have sensitive skin or allergies.
⚠️ Keep the Area Clean – Dirty hands or contaminated balm can introduce bacteria and cause infection.
⚠️ Store in a Cool, Dry Place – Keep away from direct sunlight and heat to maintain consistency.
